  1. Wow, a remake of a classic JRPG that isn't going to be split up into several full priced episodes? The GAUL! How dare they not gouge as much as possible out of the fans.

  2. Looks nice. Played the fantranslated Super Famicom ROM but never beat it.

Glad I'll be able to use JP audio with English subtitles. English voice actors almost never take it seriously and they do a phoned in effort as if they're voice acting a low budget cartoon. Back in the olden days it was unheard of to have dual audio options and so you had to resort to patching the game with unofficial 'UnDub' patches to get the original voice acting in its original language while keeping the text in English.

  3. Can't wait to get this when it comes out in April next year. I got Collection of Mana for Christmas so I've been playing this. I started With Duran, Angela, And Charlotte. The game is great so far.

  4. I’m a 26 year old millennial, but I still prefer the old-school look, and I’m glad both options are being offered for modern consoles. The original is a true example of high art, and really comes close to “Chrono Trigger” in being the greatest RPG of all time to me. I will still play the original fan-translation, since that’s what I grew up on, and what I would rather introduce my non-gamer friends to if I ever get around to it. Sorry Nintendo, you guys are rich anyway.

  5. Not too familiar with the Mana series, but the gorgeous 3D environments, real time combat and the fact that you can choose a variety of protagonists has me sold already.
